About
The
Sanctuary.
Where ancient wisdom meets the medicine of sound.

Astro Sound Baths lives within The Organ Barn — a place of old timber, long shadows and a particular kind of quiet. It is a sanctuary for sound, built for those seeking stillness in a loud world.
We work with the oldest tools there are: vibration, breath and presence. Gongs and bowls whose tones have carried people for centuries meet a contemporary space designed for deep rest.
Here, ancient wisdom meets the medicine of sound. The practice asks nothing of you but to lie down and receive — to let the body enter its own natural healing process.
We believe healing isn't found by avoiding what we carry, but by moving through it. Sound gives us a way to do that gently — to feel, release and return a little lighter than we arrived.
Whether you come curious, weary or searching, there is a mat waiting for you here.

Our Story
Old timber, older tones.
The barn was raised in 1910, set among the oaks and maples of the Pember Nature Reserve in Hebron, New York. For most of its life it held hay and quiet, and the slow settling that comes with time. Then the organ arrived — an Alexander Mills Opus pipe organ cast in 1872 — and the building found its second voice.
What began as a private place to play and to rest became something others wanted to share. Word travelled quietly, the way it does in small towns, and over the years the barn gathered a community of people looking for the same thing — a little stillness, a way through.
Astro Sound Baths grew out of that. The space remains simple on purpose. No screens, no hurry. Just old wood, long resonance, and room to lie down and let it move through you.

Our Values
What guides us.
Stillness as practice
We protect the quiet. Sessions are held without phones, without talking, without the pull of the outside — so the body can remember how to rest.
Through, not around
Healing isn't found by avoiding what we carry. Sound gives us a gentle way to feel it, move through it, and return a little lighter.
Old tools, honest hands
Gongs, bowls and breath — instruments that have carried people for centuries, offered by practitioners who hold the space without performance or pretense.
Room for everyone
No experience or belief is required. Whether you arrive curious, weary or searching, there is a mat waiting for you here.
